My Top 5 Deadpool Ladies
Its funny how despite Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool looking all messed up in the face, he’s had quit a number of gal pals. As I was thinking about this, I decided to make a list of my personal top 5 of his lady friends. Do keep in mind that while I’m a HUGE marvel/Deadpool fan, I haven’t read a whole heap of comics. This list is made up of the characters I personally know about. If you any other lady friend of Wade, please let me know. With that being said, let’s get this party started with………

5. Liz: while not part of the main Marvel universe, this tough as nails zombie slayer is on this list because of her amazing talent of being both tough and sadden at the same time. Liz appeared in Return of the Living Deadpool and we see the story narrated by her. With a Deadpool Apocalypse over shadowing the Zombie one, Liz does whatever it takes to save her family from the Pool’s ruthless hands. Along the way she meets the TRUE Deadpool and they embark on a zombie/Pool slaying romp. While it’s up in the air on whether or not Liz is a romantic interest for Wade, she’s on this list because of her relationship with the Merc with a Mouth. At first Wade’s silliness droved her nuts, but latter she warmed up to him and even took his place as Deadpool……..Long story. But to sum this up, Liz is one of the main reasons to read Return of the Living Deadpool and I couldn’t think of a better character to start off this list.

4. Danielle: While this character only appears in one issue, she’s on this list because of how she was stopped by Deadpool from committing suicide! You heard me right! Dead FLIPPING pool, stopped a girl from killing herself! I’ll let that sink in for a while. While Wade didn’t have the answers, he did try to help Danielle in every way he could. In the end, Wade dropped Danielle off at a hospital, knowing that they could help her more then he could. It’s this issue where we see that Deadpool might be a bit nutty, but he’s still a good person and will help others if needed.

3. Rogue: SUCK IT WOLVERINE! The X-ladies likes Deadpool more then you! Anyways, while I don’t know if Rogue and Wade has had much contact in the comics, I’m placing her on this list because of the Deadpool Video Game. In that game, Wade gave Rouge a daring yet messy rescue and even allowed her to kiss him and absorb her powers to heal herself. It’s funny how the game featured some of the best X-babes known to man, but Rouge was the only one to kiss Deadpool……even though she had no choice. I thought the game would go full on X-harem! And with Deadpool, that would make a whole heap of sense. Bottom line, the reason Rogue is so high up is because she’s FLIPPING ROUGE! One of the greatest X-ladies EVER!

2. Vanessa: Yes I know that she was in the comics and had powers, but I personally know her from the Deadpool movie AKA one of the greatest comic book films EVER! The reason Vanessa is second on this list is simple. As Wade himself putted it, her crazy matched his crazy. Also the fact that despite Deadpool looking um……..not so well, Vanessa looked past that and still loved him. If that’s not love I don’t know what is.

And finally! 1. Domino: Of all the ladies Deadpool has had romantic/boy and girl friendship with, I always come back to Domino. Why? Simple, it’s because her and Wade’s first ever appearance was the same issue, they work very well together AND…….she’s one of my all-time favorite X-Ladies. Deadpool and Domino’s relationship is Batman/Catwoman level crazy with all sorts of ups and downs. The most recent is Domino becoming the new leader of Wade’s merc team, the Mercs for Money. Bottom line, Domino is amazing and I can’t wait to see her in future X-men films!
